At the heart of Olympus are its PROBEs (PROBlem-oriented Explorations) and their proof-of-concept explorations that enable faculty, students and Innovation Fellows to investigate the commercial potential of their cutting-edge research and ideas and stimulate innovation. A key goal is to augment and accelerate the process of moving basic research and great ideas to development and business stages, with licensing, spin-offs, start-ups and corporate collaboration and partnering.
