People’s labs is a social venture dedicated to socio-economic development. It offers research and consulting services, and builds appropriate interface technology products for this cause. 

The national unemployment rate was reported to be 9.7% in July 2009. Economists predict that this will keep rising over the next few months and that it will take a long time to stabilize to regular US unemployment levels, which in itself is higher than many countries. At People’s Labs, we believe that the solution to such socio-economic problems lies at the confluence of comprehensive research, innovation and entrepreneurship. In making this a reality, we are an interdisciplinary graduate team leveraging our diverse educational, practical and community experiences, along with partnerships and guidance from members of academia, non-profits, government, and industry.
