Technologies to Eradicate Malaria.
Tropical Health Systems is a startup company developing the world-first medical device for the treatment of malaria. Malaria, a disease that kills over 1 million people every year, is amongst the greatest threats to human health and economic welfare.
The patent protected treatment from Tropical Health is a medical device that relies upon physical properties of the malaria parasite to remove the infection using a "dialysis-type" process. Unlike conventional drugs, against which the malaria parasite builds resistance rapidly, Tropical Health's solution would not be affected by the parasite's mutation.
We are committed to improving human health and welfare by providing a cost effective solution to a killer disease.
Tropical Health system was the winner of the Life Sciences Track in McGinnis Venture Competition
